What is Juvéderm®?

Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic acid facial filler that adds volume to the skin to soften moderate to severe facial wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in your skin and works to attract water and add volume to areas that have sunken or hollowed over time. As you get older, you have less hyaluronic acid in your skin. This lack of volume is why wrinkles form.

How is Juvéderm® Performed?

Juvéderm® products are gel formulations that are injected into the layers of skin where your wrinkles develop. The deeper the wrinkle, the deeper the injections are placed at the injection site.

What is Recovery Like After Juvéderm®?

Juvéderm® fillers require no downtime or recovery. While you may experience tenderness, redness or swelling at your injection sites after your treatment, this generally resolves on its own in a few days. All of our patients go back to their normal daily activities without restrictions immediately after treatment.

What are RHA® Dermal Fillers?

The collection of RHA® dermal fillers are the only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid products that are specifically designed to treat dynamic wrinkles. These types of wrinkles are often the first to develop on your face, and they are caused by the contractions of facial muscles. Until now, the only way to correct dynamic wrinkles involved injections to relax the muscles. How are RHA® Dermal Fillers Performed?

The collection of RHA® dermal fillers includes three levels. RHA®2 is for moderate wrinkles around the lips and mouth. RHA®3 is for moderate to severe wrinkles and creases on the face, including the mouth and nose areas. For severe wrinkles and lost facial volume, RHA®4 contains enough hyaluronic acid to add volume to the skin and restore contours.

During your consultation, we determine which of the RHA® products are best for your cosmetic goals. We may recommend more than one product to achieve the desired results. RHA® hyaluronic acid fillers are administered with a fine needle, and several injections may be required to completely correct your wrinkles.

What is Recovery Like After RHA® Dermal Fillers?

RHA® collection of fillers requires no downtime. You may notice some very minor symptoms after the injections, such as localized swelling, tenderness, and bruising. These symptoms are associated with the injections, and not the product. Expect the symptoms to last 24 to 72 hours after treatment.

How Long Will RHA® Dermal Fillers Results Last?

Other hyaluronic acid fillers for dynamic wrinkles last four to six months. The RHA® collection of dermal fillers provides anti-aging benefits for up to 15 months. You may need maintenance treatments after 12 months.
